Painter Ta Thuc Binh Ta Thuc Binh was born in Ha Bac province in 1917. He was a painter, who studied at the Indochina Fine Arts College, 15th intake (1941-1945). For many years, he worked as a lecturer at the Hanoi Fine Arts College. He specialises in silk paintings, illustrations and pictorial stories. Mr Binh has paintings at the Fine Arts Museum of Vietnam. He was the winner at the National Fine Arts Exhibitions in 1951 and 1954. Some of his main works are ‘Harvest Time’ (gouache) and ‘Bringing Rice into the Warehouse’ (silk, the Fine Arts Museum of Vietnam). |
